Offroad terror: So scared I got out and walked

We were just getting the hang of driving over really rugged terrain when we tried crawling up out of Hoodoo Wash. I think this one even scared Fred. Hard to tell with Fred.

We didn’t fall off the side of the cliff, as I feared. But I did fall on my butt later, and we did dent the truck. In other words, the definition of an adventure.

Since this trip we’ve upgraded the truck with a lift and real rock sliders. Someday we’ll go back and give Hoodoo Wash another try.
